About the Guest Suite Bedroom

Interior designer Linda Woodrum looked to Kiawah Island history for inspiration when furnishing the home's second floor guest room. Indigo, once a Low Country staple crop, served as a springboard for the room's saturated color palette. A casual, comfortable design scheme was also top of mind. "It has all the elements you'd want to have if you were in a guest room or you'd want to offer a guest," says Linda.

Tranquil design is most effectively expressed in the guest bathroom, where porcelain tile floors and matte lacquer cabinetry pair with wood furnishings in a dark walnut finish. Everything is clean and Zen," says interior designer Linda Woodrum. "That bathroom feels so pure to me."

About the Guest Bedroom : 

Inspired by Lake Tahoe's brilliant fall colors, this eclectic guest room has anything visitors might need to feel pampered and special. Exposed beams and a high ceiling allow for the use of a dramatic four-poster bed. 

A warm gray hue envelopes the walls of the guest bedroom, making the space feel cozy and inviting. Atop the gray base, interior designer Linda Woodrum incorporated linens and accent pieces inspired by brilliant fall leaves.

"We wanted a very cozy, warm space," says interior designer Linda Woodrum. With vibrant colors, cozy patterns and eclectic accents, this guest room has anything visitors might need to feel special and pampered.

About the Guest Bathroom : 

Artful accents, like glamorous lighting and an abstract painting, add stylish personality in this clean, neutral guest bathroom. Spa-like touches, like the rainwater showerhead, ensure guests will feel pampered and special. 

Warm grays and browns give this guest bathroom a clean, relaxing vibe, while metallic fixtures and bright artwork connect it with the adjacent guest room.

The traditionally styled shower fixtures offer modern spa-quality features, including a swiveling rainwater showerhead.

The bathroom features two entrances one from the guest bedroom and one from the hallway to accommodate traffic from the nearby family room

About the Guest Bathroom: 
Taking its cue from the guest bedroom design, the adjoining bathroom offers a palette of sand, cream and coral. Mocha glass wall tile is paired with neutral ceramic floor tile in a space that makes subtle reference to beach location and offers luxury spa-style features.

A contemporary print in a hot coral shade is transformed into a custom shower curtain. A trio of vintage G.I. Joe action figure flippers, matted and encased in glass, command attention and lend a touch of whimsy.

A crisp white vanity, capped in quartz, offers undercounter storage and countertop space to display hand soap and an African violet plant.

Natural light streams into the space via a window. An oversized vanity mirror visually expands the space.
